The TCloud technology is built in collaboration with a rapidly growing worldwide community – the open source community. As we leverage the collaborative open source works, we continually contribute and provide our updates and work back to the community as well.

We believe the open source model creates better software. By sharing the source code, it returns control to the customer. You can see the code, change it, and learn from it. When customers are unsatisfied with one software provider, they can choose another without changing their whole infrastructure. Technology lock-in is no longer a concern.

By the end of the year (2010), we plan to publish the Elaster source code to the open source community under GPL v2 license. We will announce the detailed schedule on our website, so please stay tuned.
